PASCO Services

PASCO’s leadership believes that the key to the fire suppression industry is not just repeat business. We see the goal of our efforts to be saving lives and protecting property by providing innovative solutions and setting the industry standards in the Southeast. In keeping with this goal, PASCO’s safety record consistently exceeds industry standards. We feature an in-house safety program, and our experience modification rating remains low year-after-year. PASCO is fully licensed and bonded, which are two factors that are particularly important in making our record possible.

Design

PASCO prides itself in providing a fast and correct design using all of the latest codes and specifications. Our team will make sure your project is well coordinated with all other trades. We will work closely with the authorities having local jurisdiction and the architects to make sure the design process goes very smooth.

PASCO’s design staff includes fourteen full-time designers. No matter the size or scope of the project we have the capability to accommodate clients’ needs in a vast variety of fire protection system designs regardless of how complicated they may be. Our capabilities include but are not limited to: tenant finish, mixed use, industrial, residential, office buildings, retail, medical facilities, schools, and higher education—all of which can be done with BIM modeling if required. Our design staff has over 95 years of combined experience in the fire protection industry. Current design programs include: AutoCad, HydraCad, Revit, and Navis.

PASCO is proficient in designing fire sprinkler systems that meet every owner’s needs. Designs can be tailored to accommodate various hazards and structures. Industry standard best practices are followed in addition to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and insurance underwriter requirements, as well as state and local building codes. Designers are trained on the latest technologies available including CADD, 3D, and BIM coordination capabilities. Each facility is custom designed to accommodate the building features, while providing a code compliant design. Various options are available with regard to the sprinkler heads themselves, i.e., orientation, mounting, protective coatings and color finishes.

The design team is comprised of National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certified technicians with a wide range of design experience including standard NFPA 13 systems to specialized industrial hazard designs. Our team participates in mandatory continuous education training in accordance with NICET, NFPA, American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA), and various manufacturers’ training programs.

Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance

When you consider the value of lives and property, it is important to include fire sprinkler inspections and a preventative maintenance plan for your assets. PASCO has a full staff of NICET certified inspectors who can meet your inspection requirements. We are qualified to inspect any of the installation services we provide. Regular testing and maintenance for all in-house fabrication is an integral part of our service offerings. By maintaining our own fabrication shop, we can better adapt to construction schedules while maintaining a high level of quality control. Most of our competitors outsource their fabrication, but we believe the best way to maintain our standard is to complete the work ourselves in our own facility. We utilize only certified welders operating the best equipment available. Additionally, we maintain a large inventory of necessary system components from fire sprinkler systems to fire pump systems that are crucial to ensure a functioning system is in place should a fire occur.

Installation

We believe in providing a turnkey package, capable of providing installation service for not only above-ground sprinkler systems, but for the underground system as well. We have crews dedicated to both, each specializing in a subfield of the entire fire protection system. PASCO is proud of the experience and hands on knowledge our crews bring to the workplace, employing multiple crews with 20 to 30 years or more of experience. With this level of professional installation, you can expect a quality product delivered in a timely manner.
